Hello!
This week's look is another simple manicure achieved with striping tape! You will need a sand colored nail polish, a gold nail polish and of course, striping tape.
I started with a base coat of OPI nail envy. I then two coats of Sei Bella Vintage Mauve. Once that dried, I took two pieces of striping tape and placed them vertically in the middle of the nail and evenly spaced so that they formed one lane going down the middle of the nail. I then took more pieces of tape and placed them horizontally in between the two lines so that I formed square spaces all the way down the nail. I used about four or five, depending on how big or small you make the squares, you may have more of less pieces of tape. I then used Orly Luxe to paint only in the square spaces down the middle of the nail. I then carefully removed all of the striping tape. I did this pattern on my index fingernail and my ring fingernail. You could do it on all if you so desire. Once that dried completely, I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the Door.

I really like the combination of these colors. The process of doing these squares was fairly simple. I just had to really make sure my lines were straight. I could have done the studs on all my nails but this time I was just ready to be done. I think it would look really cool on a dark colored polish as well. I hope you enjoyed this manicure and I will see you next time!
