Hello!
This week I finally went out and bought some new nail polishes! I simply combined two nail polishes for this manicure. You will need a light purple polish and a chunky silver glitter polish.
I started with a base coat of OPI nail envy. I then did two coats of Essie Nice is Nice. Once that was completely dry, I took Whim More Sequins Please and I painted the base of the nail right above the cuticle and went about half way. Once that was dry I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the Door.

I realize that the nail polish looks like two different colors in the photos I have. One photo was taken indoors and the final product photo was taken outdoors. The hardest part about painting only a section of your nail with chunky glitter polish is that it tends to glob and all the glitter sticks together. If you pat it on and move the brush side to side instead of up and down, it makes it easier to keep it where you want it and to place the pieces of glitter accordingly. Glitter is a really simple way to play up a nail polish color. I hope you enjoyed this look and I will see you next time.
