The Grey Divide

Hey there!

This week, the rainy weather was the inspiration for my manicure. It's fun to see what I come up with when I just think on the spot. For this manicure you will need two colors of nail polish, a medium sized dotting tool and striping tape.

I started with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy. I then did two coats of Icing Heavy Metal. Once that was dry, I placed a piece of striping tape, horizontally, a third of the way down from the cuticle. I then used Sei Bella Purple Taupe and painted the area above the tape, going towards the tip of the nail and removed the tape. Once that was dry, I used a medium sized dotting tool and placed dots above and below the division of the two colors, using the opposite color of nail polish to make the dots and spaced them out by doing one above and one below the divide. Once that completely dried, I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the door.

Finished!

I started out with a basic idea for this manicure and then I decided to add the dots and I loved it so much more. This was pretty simple to do, didn't take too much time and it STILL catches your attention. I hope you enjoyed this look and I will see you next time!
