Hello!
This week I wanted to try out a nail tutorial that I saw on YouTube. The pattern is called quatrefoil. For this manicure you will need two colors of nail polish, dotting tools, aluminum foil for dipping your dotting tools into your nail polish and lots of time and patience.
I started out with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy. I then followed with two coats of Sei Bella Vintage Mauve. Once that was completely dry I used a large dotting tool (except for on my pinky nails, I used a medium sized dotting tool) and I made a vertical row of dots going down the middle of the nail using Sei Bella Crushed Berries. I then went back to the first two dots and placed another two dots on either side so that it makes a cross. I did that for every other set of two dots going down the nail. I continued this pattern so that it covered the entire nail, to the left and right of the very first row I made in the center.
Once that pattern was dry I went back in and repeated the exact same pattern on top of the berry color, this time using a smaller dotting tool and Sei Bella Vintage Mauve so that it fills in the same shape but leaves an outline of that shape in the berry color. Once that was completely dry, I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the Door.

This pattern was so fun for me to do. It's not necessarily hard, it it just time consuming. You need a steady hand and lots of time. I love how they look like nail stickers. So cute!! Be sure that pattern is completely dry before you go over with top coat. I hope you enjoyed this look and I will see you next time!
