Fourth of July Banner

Hey!

So this week's manicure is super simple, doesn't use any tools at all, just plain nail polish. I can't believe I still don't have a proper navy blue nail polish, so I just used the best blue I had. I also used my white nail polish which is about to bite the dust and my only red nail polish which happens to be a glitter. Hopefully by next year, I will definitely have more nail colors!

I started with a base coat of OPI nail envy. I then did two coats of Sinful Colors LoveNails. I then did a thick stripe of white on the right side of the nail with OPI Alpine Snow. Once that was dry I did one more stripe to the right of the white one with the red glitter Sinful Colors Decadent. When all of that was dry, I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the Door.

Looks very bold and very flashy, it is perfect for this Holiday. Well, that pretty much sums up this manicure. I hope you liked it and I will see you next time!

Daisy

Hello!

So this week I decided to give my nail art brush some more practice. The only thing I can seem to come up with is flowers and Daisies won this time. For this look you will need a pink/purple nail polish, a white nail polish, a gold nail polish, a nail art brush and a small dotting tool.

I started with a base coat of OPI nail envy. I then did two coats of Julep Bette. Once that was dry I did the following design on my index and ring finger nails. I used OPI Alpine Snow and a nail art brush to paint a cross in the center of the nail. I then added more lines to it going diagonally until it resembled flower petals. I then used Orly Luxe and a small dotting tool to make the center dot. Once that was completely dry I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the Door.

I am having a really hard time using my nail art brush but I am going to keep practicing. I need to look up some other things that I can paint free hand, but even so, it is difficult. The only advice I have is practicing using the brush is the only way you can learn how to handle it so that you get the right type of outcome and how much nail polish you put on the brush makes a difference too. Well, I hope you liked this one and I will see you next time!

Roses

Hello!

So  I finally went out and got a nail art brush. I thought that it would be good to try out some flowers and I did roses. I found a tutorial online and just followed that. For this manicure you will need a coral, white, and green nail polish and a nail art brush.

I started with a base coat of OPI nail envy. I then did two coats of OPI Alpine Snow on my index and ring fingernails and two coats of Sei Bella Coral Fantasy on the rest of my fingernails. I then used my brush and the coral nail polish to paint two curvy lines in the center of the nail painted white.  I then continued to add curvy lines all around the first two lines in a circular pattern so that it looks like a rose. I then used Julep Hoch to paint some small leaves on the corners of the rose. I only painted the rose on the nails that were painted white. When my roses dried completely, I finished my manicure with a fast drying top coat of INM Out the Door.

I practiced using my nail art brush on some paper the day before I did my manicure. Of course, using your dominant hand is always easier. I think it looks okay for the second day of using a brush. I am hoping to use my brush more often and think of other new looks I haven't tried yet. I hope you enjoyed this look and I will see you next time!
